The group has a phenomenal track record and reputation in the local market with project financing and advisory expertise of multi-billion-dollar deals. The team is composed of highly intellectual individuals with years of experience in the finance field.

Khuslee Baatar
Managing Director

Khuslee has over 12 years of experience working in advisory capacity for number of infrastructure projects in Mongolia of which tasks varied from assistance to early development of project, business case development and strategic planning to stakeholder management.

In 2011, together with McKinsey and Co., she helped develop business case for the New Railway Project, the only major railway construction initiative that was planned since the Country built its existing vertical railway in 1938. Upon development of the business case her involvement in the project continued in local financial advisory capacity where she and Liberty Partners (now RVJ Capital) together with Guggenheim Intl’ and BNP Paribas worked on the project capital structure, financing schedule, overall financial planning of the project.

She and her team provided advisory for Mongolian Airlines in its turnover efforts together with Seabury. The advisory team provided the national flag bearer with comprehensive five-year management plan and carried out stakeholder management including communication with government agencies and ministries during the turnover act.

Khuslee has unique experience in the Country’s major infrastructure development project and commercial projects in various industries as well as in-depth knowledge of local business and legal framework. She received her BBA from OTA and MBA in Financial Management from National University, CA, USA.

Gantoli Bayarbaatar
Vice President

Gantoli joined the company in 2013 as an analyst.

In 2013-2014, she was part of the Liberty team that was tasked to assist in the early project development of the Sainshand Industrial Complex project, a cluster based industrial park with estimated CapEx of $10billion which equaled the amount of the country’s GDP. The team, through the board chairman capacity, has provided assistance focusing on the area of stakeholder management and client education.

In 2013-2015, Gantoli together with her team has worked on development of greenfield heat-recovery coke plant with estimated Capex of EUR 550 million. The team had successfully carried out the early project development with secured commitments on debt.

Gantoli was also involved in broad range of private sector projects including sell-side advisory of a prominent insurance company, early development of greenfield light industry facility as well as business case development of wool insulation brand.

Gantoli holds BA in Business administration from Tohoku University (Japan).

Tsogt Ganzorig
Chief Operating Officer

Tsogt joined the company in 2012 and has since held various positions at the firm. Currently he is the COO of the firm and is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the projects. Among many projects he was actively involved, the most notable was the introduction of MOG project, oil refinery establishment, where he led the project from its inception. Prior to joining DZ Consulting, he was the CEO of Tushig Cosmetics LLC, subsidiary of Tushig Group. He holds B.A in International Relations from National University of Mongolia.

Batkhishig Badarch
Senior Analyst

Batkhishig joined DZ Consulting in 2020, as a Senior Analyst.

In 2012-2016, he has had professional experience working at Mandal Insurance as an actuary and risk analyst in risk department. During his time at Mandal Insurance, he was responsible for analyzing the macroeconomic and insurance sector of Mongolia and using statistical modeling to develop financial projections, cost benefit analyses and risk portfolio.

In 2016-2018, he has worked in Newcom Group. He was part of the asset management team responsible for managing Newcom’s invested assets in terms of financial return and investment analysis for various projects or opportunities. He was involved in strategic planning, new business development, financial analysis and elaborating quantitative and qualitative monthly reports on portfolio investments of Newcom Group.

Batkhishig holds BA in Business economics from University of Finance and Economics and MBA from University of Miskolc (Hungary).
